Adobe Reader not opening

Hey guys, whenever I try to open adobe, it just remains at the loadscreen and never actually opens.

I recently upgraded OS and it was working fine at first; all of a sudden it just stopped working. Adobe is also up to date.

The same thing happened with quickoffice, but a quick uninstall and reinstall fixed that problem.

Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix this issue? Help would be greatly appreciated.

I now have the same issue with Adobe Reader. quickoffice is working fine.
Anyone else had and issue? more importantly solved the problem?
