which would you go with and why? Seems 3.04 has some serious bug that want you to wish you could keep 3.02, what do you think?

    I am happier with 3.0.4

3.0.4. Had some problems, but seems like after a wipe it fixed it.

EDIT: Nope, media indexer bug still exist for music. My problem with Photobucket is fixed though.

3.0.2 defintely. I like to play my games and I would like things to work

3.0.4 makes things faster but whats the point if it doesnt work at all.

3.0.4 has its small quirks, but overall I'll take it over the 3.0.2 which had to be hacked and tweaked to hell to get it to bring it close to what 3.0.4 is stock.

people with cases are having issues charging with the touchstone.
accelerometer does not work with games.

any other issues?? Or reasons to swap to 3.04?

Only problem I've had with 3.0.4 is games having issues but otherwise everything else is much better. The speed with the update and 1.5 clocking has it for the first time at the speed I've seen on the Ipads and my CM7 Android phone. It was a great update, just hope the game devs update the apps to work better with it.

3.0.4 is 'worth' it just for the stabilised browser page for me!
    3.0.2 @ 1.7 with patches wasn't exactly 'slow' either!

Everything else will catch up in good time.

('Donations' probably lubricate the update system!

do i have to uninstall the patches before upgrading? i'm running just the common patches:

preware, homebrew, uberkernel, govnah, muffle logging, turn ripple off, etc...

i've already updated govnah, etc to latest version but im curious if it's better to just uninstall patches, upgrade webOS and then reinstall the patches?

3.0.4 for the WiFi fix but either way too much bugs in both version. i just don't understand how can they allow previous bugs that were fixed to resurface again...

3.0.4 for sure - the difference is night and day.

3.0.4 can properly render -text- on a webpage.

    3.0.2 can't.

    It's a no-brainer for me.

3.0.4. I have not experienced any problems with it yet and it's definitely faster.

You have to update the overclocked kernel to the 3.0.4 compatible versions or they won't work. You might also have to reset Govnah to the overclocking profile you want.

need help how do you overclock kernel to 3.0.4 and reset Tongan by just downloading

    Preware?

    again

3.0.4 pretty much eradicates the webOS lag issue. Mine is still running the stock kernel and I couldn't be happier. The auto correct bug is annoyib, but I just turn it off. Issues running games were gone after a reset.
