Default Format the HP TOUCHPAD?

Hi guys,

is there any way to remove all of the stuff on the HP TOUCHPAD? I used webOS-Doctor, but this only removed the Applications, but all of the data is still there, like mp3, pdf etc.

so is there any way to remove ALL OF THE DATA completely on my HP TOUCHPAD?

Go to Device Info, Reset Options, and either Full Erase or Secure Full Erase should do the trick.

Will the full erase get rid of kernals, patches, etc. and return it to stock? If so, when would you use this over the Doctor???

Secure erase erases data in the USB partition

Doctor restores OS partition

Uninstall them, or run a Doctor on your device perhaps?

@saeedmashti: I had the same with the old German keyboard layout. Only thing that helps for me was using the doctor and even there it takes serveral tries before it was successfull.

But now it is fine and the updated German keyboard layout is installed also and working.

Does running a Doctor reset the Developer Mode password as well?

**just found another thread that said that I could run webDoctor to remove it :P
