What do these benchmark #'s mean and what do you use to get them?

^ i'm in the US "Minnesota" and updated today to the new Uberkernal & Govanah
again running ondemand 1512 solid on 3.0.4

Does anyone use the warthog kernel? I don't use uberkernel since it wasn't able to do the 1.72 at the time. I haven't heard or seen updates for warthog yet and was wondering if uberkernel is better or should i just wait to do the update and patch again?

    Am I missing something here?

on both Touchpads. (but still not the 125 you're getting... )
I got 193 my first run on lithium then I realized I didn't follow the instructions, to plug in, take off wireless, restart then run. I got 128 after.

The only Uberkernel available in Preware beta feeds right now is actually
built on 3.0.2 source. Per Rod http://forums.precentral.net/webos-i...ml#post3213413
In other words, no it has not actually been updated for 3.0.4 yet.
That'll remain true until you see the Last Updated date change.

F4 Phantom beta however, was updated yesterday and appears to be built off 3.0.4 source.

I would love to see a 1.7 uberkernel without having to set up beta links.

Got 112 with UC at 1.5. How did you get 96?

I got 145 before turning off wireless and restarting. Then I got 123 Stock 3.0.4 kernel w/ logging off.

Still, I can't wait for UberKernel to get out of testing. My 3D games ran much better with 3.0.2 and UK at 1.5.

Edit: Actually, with the wifi off, the games are running pretty well...

I installed uberkernel this morning, I also have logging set to minimum and was able to reinstall some of the related patches before they pulled them all for update.

I ran lithium first with wifi on, not plugged in, no restart and got 122.

After wifi off, plugged in, restart device, I ran it again and got 96.

I ran it again just now just to see, wifi on, not plugged in, no restart since a couple of hours ago and got 99.

so according to Rod, this is still testing for the uberkernel and shouldn't be used?

Well, it works for me. Just got a 97 with no wifi. Good stuff.

I think UC is stable enough. I'll try Warthog later on when that comes out (which is what I used to use on 3.0.2).

So how do you explain these two tweets?

    Twitter
Kernel alpha testers: we have UberKernel and Warthog kernels now built from updated 3.0.4 sources. Please test. F15C and F4 to come later.

    Twitter
UberKernel/TouchPad 3.0.4-68 and Govnah 1.2.1 have progressed to the beta-kernels and beta-apps feeds based on alpha testing feedback.

78 with F4 Phantom v81 beta at 1.836Ghz ondemand (wifi off, charging, no restart) or
    94 at 1.512Ghz

If Uberkernel has been updated to 3.0.4 source, then they should have changed the date on
em in Preware and/or updated the "official" OC Kernels thread I linked to above.
That's where I was told Beta testers should go for official information.

    Wow!

I'm reading each post here and noticing benchmark scores go lower and lower and lower. This is an awesome battle that can only stoke my appettite for webOS 3.04 once it is done. Great job everyone. Peace.

    F4 Phantom .81 @ 1.7ghz
    profile- ondemandtcl1728

wifi off, restart - score 83

tried again with ONDEMAND setting instead of TCL

    wifi off, restart- score 80

--one thing I did notice was that a new browser card seems to open at about half a beat, whereas with f4 1.7ghz on 3.0.2 it seemed like it took 1.5 beats.
