Is your TouchPad in Developer Mode?

There are several other ways to install Preware other than WOSQI. I was unable to install it on my Pre3 using WOSQI for a while and had to resort to the SDK's palm-install.

    Application:Preware - WebOS Internals

    Try:
    1) WOSQI
    2) Command-line
    3) Stand-alone installer
    4) Palm SDK

    Palm lineage:
PalmPilot Pro -> PalmPilot Pro w/ 2MB OS 3 upgrade -> Handspring Visor Deluxe -> Handspring Visor Prism -> Handspring Visor Prism w/ VisorPhone -> ... (the long hiatus) ... -> HP TouchPad & HP Pre 3 (AT&T)

You can just use WOSQI. Start WOSQI, click Tools (menu bar), and there should be a command line option.
