    ow... ok this is working.

But in this way it dosnt stand really stable (otherwise its totally stable) and the little "nose" on the case is a little bit bent and don't looks good for long usage. This seems to stress the cases "nose" even more.

If I watch a short clip I don't care about sound quality.
I understand there is a designed orientation, but I agree here, don't want to be forced to rotate as we do now.

Meh, I've never had a problem with it, but to each their own...

With the Poetic HP TouchPad Stand Leather Case, and the Touchpad sitting
on a desk, and using the case as a stand, the speakers are at the bottom,
and the speakers blocked by the case, cutting the sound volume in half or
    less.

Here is the Amazon link to the case.

Amazon.com: Poetic(TM) HP TouchPad Stand Leather Case with Angle Adjustable for HP TouchPad

It is a nice case, better than the HP case, but its not perfect.

Does the Targus Truss Case also block the speakers?

maccox there is another orientation issue. If you use the Touchstone docking station, Touchpad must be oriented with speakers down (landscape) or to the left (portrait). If oriented otherwise the Touchstone charger will not work.
