Aaron's that upstanding store, is offering 16GB touch touchpads for a mere $89.99 A MONTH! Geez
"* own it in 12 months everyday low price $1424.99".
They're not gouging much are they? Well no more than they normally try to do.
    Their ad.

Anyway, maybe shouldn't have posted but got a chuckle out of it and thought others might also.

They bundle it with a compaq Notebook.
In a world of droid, Pre does it better.

Shouldn't we treat this world like the Garden of Eden and avoid the apple at all costs?

I'll rent one my 16GB Touchpads for a much lower price of $20 per month,
with $200 security deposit, no credit check required, 15% off for active
NRA or AARP members with valid CCW permit.

It is their every day low price. Perhaps they bought theirs off eBay on release day and are trying to recoup some coin....
If you like my Themes, please donate! Thanks!

They should have bought the Touchpads on Amazon.com on release day.
Amazon.com is refunding $400+ to anyone who bought it at full price. _

don't forget the small print! (that doesn't even make sense)

    * 12 months @89.99 = $950.75, TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP = $2,375.74

Wow, hadn't even seen that part, and no it makes absolutely no sense to me, well except it's aarons and the prices always being higher than logic suggests actually makes perfect sense,

it's probably old ad copy based on the original $499 price of the 16gb TouchPad. I'm not saying it's a good deal even then, and obviously there are some mistakes in the ad, but $90 a month for 12 months for a $500 product is more in line for aaron's. people really have to be hard up and impatient to get stuff at a place like that...

I get it in a way. I have a relative who went to buy a new van. We asked her how much it was costing her, if she didn't mind sharing. She replied and told us how much per month. We asked for how many years. She didn't even know, or seem to care, as long as she could afford the monthly payment. Turned it to be 6 years, quite the car loan, Crazy.

I actually bought my 16gb touchpad at aarons for $139.99. It came with a leather case that I ended up selling.

I'd like to find out how many "smart shoppers" sign up to buy one of these under these terms.

Same here except $144 plus tax. I sold my leather case to someone here or Pre-Central who also bought their TP at Aaron's.
