    Hello

I've installed Ubuntu on my HP (thx 4 all the help) and have some questions.

    - it is possible to install a non-HP printer on Ubuntu@HP

    - it is possible to connect to Windows shares?

I would expect that its not possible because the sub OS can not other printers/shares then the the root OS, or not?

    - easystoke: How can I add ESC, page up, page down, left, right, etc? I'm missing this keys on the keyboard

    thx in adv.

Printing - yes: http://forums.precentral.net/hp-touc...-printing.html - but it will only enable printing from programs running within the chroot

Windows shares - yes. Learn about fstab; google mounting samba shares. Unlike printing, the windows share mounted in chroot should be accessible to all of webOS at /media/ext3fs/ubuntu-natty-chroot/wherever-you-put-the-mount

I installed follewed the commands in the link above and modified them a little bit.

    Code:
    /usr/sbin/cupsd &
    then use
    Code:
    system-config-printer
    and install your network printer

remark: both packages were installed normally but I got a warning during the cups installation
    Code:
lpstst: No such file or directory
    cheers
