Default keyboard like splashtop

the keyboard in the splashtop app is awesome...top row with arrows and ctrl/alt/del and an expanding row with all the functions.

any way this can be implemented into the keyboard at all times?

Yes I agree! I have asked (as well as many others) about adding arrows but people keep saying its impossible. Clearly it is possible...

Perhaps this should be moved to the TP Homebrew forum.

It's definitely not impossible, there are a wealth of alternative keyboards for both Android and iOS. If someone so desired they could create a keyboard that would replace the stock keyboard and add any features they wanted to as long as they are supported by the OS.

it's a perfect fix, that top row does everything a normal keyboard can do...gmail shortcuts, cut/copy/paste...hopefully someone will figure out how splashtop did it and make it the standard

Splashtop just integrated their own custom keyboard into their own application, they didn't overwrite any system files which is what would have to happen for the keyboard to apply to the whole system. Its completely different and probably wouldn't even be compatible if somebody figured out all the files for the keyboard.
