I know they might be different in frequencies due to a larger battery on the TP but I have both chargers (Pre minus, TouchPad) together and since they are both similar I don't know which one is for one or the other.. So, Can I used just one for both?

you can use the TP for the Pre, but not the other way around.

the pre charger says "palm". The TP charger doesn't have a brand on it.

Strange I tried my tp charger with my pre and it did not charge. Tried it with my pre touchstone and the pre and the touchstone got so hot I could not hold them.

I understand that.. they thing is i have all chargers (ipod, pre, TP, Netbook) plugged together on a power strip under my night stand. But the Pre minus and the TP are identical wirewise..

I guess i have to paint my Pre minus to identify it.. lol

The TP wall charger is rated at 2 amps, the Pre charger at 1 amp. The Pre's charger doesn't provide enough current to charge the TP, at least not effectively. The TP doesn't respond to it when plugged in.

The TP charger will charge my Pre, but I've only plugged it in to check it. Since I'm not sure if the Pre is designed to throttle-back a 2A charger, I wouldn't use it.

The TouchStone charger says "hp" on it.
