The automatic backup (daily) has backed up for 2 weeks now...

Attempts to complete a manual backup fails every time.

I switched back up off then on (losing my 2 week old backup ) in the hope that this may reset things and get the daily auto backup working again but this has not worked either.

Any ideas what I can try or do ?

    Thanks

    For the TouchPad probably.
This was a big issue with the initial Sprint Pre-

Here is what usually will fix it.
    1) Turn Backup OFF
    2) Reboot (not a luna, complete restart)
    3) Turn Backup ON

This should help, and then also look at what time the backup is being done afterwards, it might be trying to backup at a time when you are not on a WiFi network, that can make you miss a backup sometimes too.

    Thanks I'll try that.

The Touchpad hasn't been out the house yet... so wifi is constantly available.....

Once I do get a backup saved I'll probably do an erase to get a clean sheet...

    Try this:
    1) Enter the following web page on the device:
    http://developer.palm.com/appredirec....app.fixbackup

    2) Once you acces this web page, it would show “Backup Troubleshooting Utility” app.

    3) Please download the app.

    4) Next, click “Tap to launch” to launch the app

    5) Once it has finished, please close the app.

    6) Finally, please go to “Backup” app and tap “Back Up Now”
    Treo 650 --> Treo 680 --> Palm Pre Plus --> Palm Pre 2--> TOUCHPAD 32gb
