Is it true that the 3.0.3 webOS firmware is out, but only to developers? or am i wrong haha

It's probably true. The WebOS platform is very well alive. A update seems likely.

Where did you read this? I checked the webOS dev website and I see nothing.

If developers had received an advanced copy of an update, they would probably be bound by a non-disclosure agreement and would not be able to talk about it.

Not at all. I have no idea who would or would not be covered by an NDA. All I am saying is that any individuals who are covered by an NDA know what they can and can't say. I think that they also know that HP employees visit this site regularly.

3.03 is already out in the wild on a number of devices which were bought by members of the public - nobody is sure how many or on what basis they were pushed out.

Someone I know who is a WebOS developer claims to have 3.0.4 but I am trying to get confirmation at the moment.

https://developer.palm.com/ that website is available to anyone. Membership is also free. I have yet to signup though. I was simply saying that I see nothing on the website and looking for the OPs source.

    Of course he is...

webOS 3.0.3 and 3.0.4 have been seen in the wild for a little while now.

I've seen at least one developer mention webOS 3.1 but they may have misspoken.

However, we've previously been told that at least one minor and one major update is coming to 3.x so I think it's quite possible that we could see a new build released with the next batch of Touchpads and maybe a slightly more substantial release by years end to wrap up as many loose ends as possible before the software vanishes behind HP's iron curtain forever...

My Touchpad came with 3.3.6, and Release Notes state that it enables two additional cores, for a quad core, and the browser is phenomenal - tabs, bookmarks, all websites open with no issues, and Gmail works.

Then I woke up. Damn it!
