Just spotted 16GB and 32GB TouchPad bundles in-stock at PCWorld.co.uk.

They're bundled with the Touchstone dock and a case for 199 (16GB) and 249 (32GB).

    32GB: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hewlet...42081-pdt.html

Why would you want to but this in the UK?? GBP 149 (just the TP) is approx US$ 240 and you will have to add international shipping to that. For that price eBay has should have several available; 95% of the units I find on eBay are US-only ...

Thing is, this isn't as good a deal as my first "fire sale" purchase but it is still a very very good deal based on UK prices. A month ago this deal would have been well over 500. My family (if my mother in law can be included !) now own 3, each with their own touchstones with a total cost of around the same figure. I would have been tempted by this bundle before the great sell off, and I think this is the kind of deal HP should have been aiming at for the EOL sale.

*** why so expensive. (using the firesale price as the guide)

I guess argos and CPW will get stock soon now too?

Not 'firesale price' (that seems to be a pipe dream at this point) but definitely not a bad deal either.

Why would shops offer firesale prices now, knowing how popular they were at that pricepoint? Of course they're going to add on a premium - ensuring that they are just below eBay prices (and still with a better deal) - and know that they will still sell their whole shipments. Who can blame them really.

CPW said they would keep the firesale price

Forget the firesale price - this is a good TABLET price. I think they got it about right.

I don't think they will honour the firesale price either. Pcworld didn't. And this is a good price considering you would pay about 300 for this on ebay!

    can't wait!!

Called them up and they said they would not sell it separately which sucks.

The touchstone and case are really nice. Don't know if you don't need them and that's why you'd want it separate, but if you have to get one, just get the bundle for that price.

    I paid 210 for a 32, this isn't something I wanted to see. :-(
