Hey everyone. I have a question that just came up today.

Is there a way to get the adobe reader to automatically load when clicking on a pdf attachment?

I use a web mail service, and I access it through the web browser. When I click on a pdf attachment in an email, another window of the web browser activates, and it comes up with a message that says "cannot open MIME type"

Is there a way to get the built in adobe reader to launch when tapping an attachment? or is there some other way to read a pdf file online as an attachment?

    Thanks for any help!

Sounds like it's trying to download it, and not liking what it receives.

May also be the protected downloads issue. Do you get a file at all in the download directory?

No file in the download directory, no.

It seems odd that it tries to launch another web browser instead of the adobe reader. Is there a way to associate the online pdf file with adobe reader?

I already checked, and the default association for pdf files is Adobe reader, but that's on the unit, and I don't know if it's the same for online content
