My 16GB iPad 2 was only 2 months old and I managed
    to sell it for $400.
I ditched my iPad2 after a week and moved it for $500.

I did the same thing right after I got the three Touchpads!

Unfortunately, I only got $400 for my 2-months-old iPad 2.

yes HP is a mess but honestly you cannot pay for this frenzy no ad no amount of money can do what word of mouth and the "it's cool factor" if it was uncool to have an iPhone and super cool to have a Captivate Samsung would be the Apple today.
I'm not here to criticize the Touchpad but to learn how to make it better.

(oh... and I just want two more Touchpads for my family use only, not for resale,

Are you serious? You already have 3 in your family and you want 2 more? Man...show a little compassion. I've got none...that's one less than one. You've got 3...thats 3 more than me. At least give me one of the 2 new ones...I'll even pay $99 plus shipping for it!

I entered my email address a few hours before they stopped taking names for people interested in getting a Touchpad.

So my question that I have been asking, what is the best way to make sure you have a chance to get one, excluding what's been speculated that only the people who have pending orders will get them and no one else?

Is there a particular link I should be using to check daily to try and get an order in place?

    Thanks!
