How do I get my Firefox bookmarks from my computer onto the Touchpad? I don't need them live-synced, just importing them once would do for now.

    Thanks!

FF Bookmarks can be exported as HTML There's a patch to open local files with the TP browser. I haven't tried it, but you should be able to move the html file to your TP using box.net or the usb cable. That would give you a webpage with all your bookmarks. Then you could bookmark that page and either use as is, or as a reference to add the bookmarks in TP.

Edit: I tried this using boxnet and it worked perfectly. I didn't even have to install the patch "File Url's for Browser".

I would also add that Xmarks is useful since you can sync bookmarks on various computer browsers and visit those bookmarks via a webpage on the TouchPad. That's pretty much what I've been using on my machines and when I need access to those bookmarks on the TouchPad or Pre2.

As mentioned, https://www.xmarks.com/ is where you want to download a version for your PC's browser. After you create an account and sync your bookmarks, go to http://my.xmarks.com on the TouchPad and log in. Then, your synced bookmarks will be listed. Personally, I prefer the mobile version (https://login.xmarks.com/login/mobile) on my TouchPad.
