Does WebOS encrypt it's volume when logged off similarly to how iOS does (from 3GS on)? Before traveling with a touchpad, it would be nice to know that I could lock it down in the event it was stolen. And if it is stolen, is it possible create a wipe command for a wifi-only model? Thanks again.

WebOS features a remote erase via the Palm Profile. Palm Support : Palm Pre Sprint - How to perform a remote erase

I don't know about encryption. Last I heard, WebOS 3.0 featured full encyrption system-wide. Just keep your developer-mode off (when not needed) and use a pin number to keep anyone from accessing your Touchpads OS. The only thing they would access is your USB (which can be wiped if they happen to connect via wifi when you perform a remote wipe).
