Live Mail Calendar

Hi first post, managed to get a fire sale 32gb Touchpad, going through all updates homebrew etc (many thanks) but one thing I would like is, to be able to sync & view live mail calendar on the touchpad. I have searched but most items on this relate to the Pre. Anyone had any luck.

Go to "Add an account"
Tap "Microsoft Exchange"
Tap "Manual Setup"
Server: https://m.hotmail.com
Set username and password, leave domain blank

It should let you select Calendar for syncing.

HELP!

I tried the suggestions outlined here to add my live.com and outlook.com accounts (email, contacts, and calendar) to my TP but had no luck. I attempted to add them by these two methods:

(1) INBOT'S SUGGESTION ABOVE
This approach resulted in this error message: BAD USER NAME OR PASSWORD. ERROR CODE 1000. HTTP ERROR 401. (I had the user name and password right.)
-Go to Accounts from the launcher (not from the calendar or mail drop down)
-Go to "Add an account"
-Tap "Microsoft Exchange"
-Tap "Manual Setup"
-Server: https://m.hotmail.com
-Set username and password, leave domain blank
-It should let you select Calendar for syncing (never gave me this option)

(2) TP's DEFAULT SETTINGS FOR ADDING EMAIL ACCOUNT
-Go to Accounts from the launcher (not from the calendar or mail drop down)
-Go to "Add an account"
-Tap "Email"
-Enter email address & passord
-Successfully created email account but my calendar & contacts aren't available
-Server: https://m.hotmail.com
-Set username and password, leave domain blank
-It should let you select Calendar for syncing. (The TP never gave me this option. I tried to manually ad a calendar by selecting Calendar > Preferences & Accounts > Add an Account > MS Exchange, but I got the same error as above: BAD USER NAME OR PASSWORD. ERROR CODE 1000. HTTP ERROR 401.

I would be so grateful for any suggestions. The TP is my only computer at this point and I cannot function w/o a calendar, email, and contacts.

Try changing http to https, this works on my TP

I use the same settings as mentionned in method 1 and it works on both Pre & TouchPad.
*Try to use m.hotmail.com without the https
*Make sure you enter your username as username@live(outlook).com
*If your username is long try using a shorter one (aroud 8 characters)
