Default Self-signed SSL certificates bug

I have shellinabox running on a server as a temporary way to use SSH on the TouchPad. I have it running on https with a self-signed SSL certificate. When I access it with the TP's browser it warns me that the certificate is expired (it's not, but I assume the error is generic for all invalid certificates) and gives me three options, "Trust Always", "Trust Once", or "Don't Trust". The issue I'm seeing is that "Trust Always" doesn't do what it says. It will prompt you again with the warning after visiting a few pages on the domain (or a few AJAX requests in this case).

Is anyone else seeing this issue?

webOS has had issues with self-signed certificates since inception, apparently. I could never get them to work right on Pre, Pixi or the Touchpad. It's been a particular bugbear with email.
