    This is the URL for google's new offline gmail app

    https://mail.google.com/mail/mu/mp/951/?mui=ca

    Opening it on the touch gives you a two pane view. Unfortunately the panes don't scroll. Anyone have any idea about how to remedy this?

    Scroll by pressing and holding at around the middle of the pane, then drag up or down.

    OK. I don't get dragging from the middle, as if one is pulling the page. However one can start it scrolling and control the speed by holding in the middle of the pane near the bottom or top of it and dragging finger over bottom or top respectively. The more you extend over the edge, the faster it scrolls.

    Thanks!

    Anyone know how to set up user css for the browser? Might be able to do some tuning of the page form with that - for instance the subject pane on the left is wider than I would like it to be, at the expense of the message pane on the right.

    For instance, by inspection in Chrome, it appears that this class controls the width of the subject:

    .Vd {
    width: 512px;
    }

    Incidentally, at the bottom of the page of these iPad/iPhone views there's a feedback link. I clicked it and requested that there be an easy way to access the tablet version of GMail from any device instead of having to muck around finding the relevant urls by UserAgent string spoofing. Perhaps if enough people do likewise...

    Also, sometimes my "Sent" messages find their way into my inbox.
    I could see this happening if maybe you are using a reply or reply to all. I have NEVER had a sent gmail message show up in my inbox, not saying you are wrong, but in 2 years of using webOS and gmail, never seen that.
    I love physical keyboards... but there is two devices that would make me consider a slab, one is something running a full version of Open webOS. The other is an iPhone!!!! HA HA just kidding (about the iPhone that is)...

    Whenever I load Gmail through the web browser I can't even scroll to the bottom of the page to select "HTML" view, it just doesn't work.

    thanks for the suggestions. Sounds like it is a “no” at this time. I do not use or like apple but their gmail interface is really nice

    Someone has updated the iphone useragent spoof to spoof iPad on the touchpad haven't had time to try it yet.

    Mail app is useless for me because of the search I regularly have to search for emails from the last 7 years ago out of the 60k or so emails in my gmail.
