I have WPA and WPA2 set on my router so that devices can use either. The SSID is not broadcast. I enter the network name and choose WPA and enter the password but then I get the error message that no network by that name error. Do I need to temporarily broadcast the SSID in order to setup connection to my network? Or is there some other troubleshooting I need to do?

name is probably case sensitive. Start by turning off security and then add it back one piece at a time.

My wireless is non-broadcast SSID WPA and it works with my TP, so I wouldn't think you'd need to turn broadcasting on.

Cool got it connected now. I changed the wireless setting and then changed it back. It must have glitched out.
