Help!!! can't turn off the pad

Since yesterday, when I hold the power button for no matter how long, it stop giving me the choice to either
turn off the device or cancel.

Anyone know why is this??

actually i used 'Advanced reset options' patch so that the pop-up menu also contains "restart luna" and "restart device". it worked for a few days.

I've removed that patch but didn't work.

Did you try holding the power button and the home button for 15 seconds? Will force a reboot.

Patch is not the problem reboot it

yeah..I reinstalled the patch..then hold for 15 seconds, it works now. thanks finecismad!
