Just stumbled on this while looking for a decent office app.
I had just updated Quickoffice app and remembered that I had my skydive office suite through my Microsoft live account.
So I logged in and skydive and office works - cool
but I noticed the messenger tab had a number next to it so I tapped it and voila.
A new text pop up with all my contacts who are online, tap one and messenger box opens and I am on msn messenger.

Happy days, it will do until an app for Msn.

I do not see a skydrive login request.

    or

You might have to sign in and click on the link again. I bookmarked both and they work.

Would be nice if MSN IM was encrypted on the touchpad like it is on the PC.

Would be nice if MSN behaved with the Touchpad. Can never find one perfect device. Grrr. Hotmail Calendar? Fine. Contacts? Sure. HTML email??? Nope. Ugh. And no messenger.

Shouldn't have to do things through the web.

I wish I knew how to be a developer.

wierd, am I the only one getting my facebook contacts only? Seems like my MSN contacts aren't showing up.

Tried it, didn't get notification sounds. Also didn't like the tiny window it runs in. I'll stick with this method - Using Windows Live Messenger in webOS (incl. Touchpad) futurepr0n
