I know there are threads similar to this but this thread is about the touchpad. My question is that is it better to charge it continuously (without unplugging it) or to wait until it is at low battery and then charge it? The result I want to try to have is a longer battery life.

Thanks that helped. And yes I did press the thanks button too.

It is recommended by battery manufactures to do 3-5 full cycles on new batteries.
I'm not sure this is necessary but I always do it on new batteries.

BTW: What does that mean: "And yes I did press the thanks button too" ?

Because when most people say thanks and are given a thanks button they are most likely to not click the button.
