Just gave my mom a TP and set it up for her. We created a new webOS account and, after getting all updates for both apps and the OS, started launching some of the apps. In several places a "Loading Accounts" message comes up (Contacts, Quickoffice) and the little wheel just spins. It will sit there doing that for as long as I allow it to (waited several minutes on a couple of occasions). The app never does start and I end up closing it down. I've tried rebooting the TP a couple of times but it didn't help.

Any ideas? I set up two other TPs but I signed in with my Palm profile for both of those. This was the first "new" setup I've done.

But we hadn't signed in to anything (services, accounts, etc) yet... So would this still be normal behavior?

So there was a problem of some kind. My mom ended up calling HP support and was on the phone with them for 2 hrs and 45 mins. During that time they apparently wiped the device and reinstalled a bunch of stuff*.

Bottom line, they got it working for her and she's very happy with it.

    * I wasn't there and my mom doesn't really know what "stuff" entails.

Same problem. Power-cycled the device to resolve. Good as new!
Stuck on loading accounts and MS Exchange not pushing emails.
Issue was solely with the device itself.
