    I was talking more like VLC player, or something, to expand on supported video codec on the touchpad...

    There are only two so far: Touchplayer and Kalemsoft.

    Touchplayer is free and is found in Preware. Kalemsoft is $6 if you download it from their site, or $7 if you use the software catalog. Touchplayer does not do hardware acceleration, so will be a little janky at times. Kalemsoft does do HW acceleration I believe.

    Kalemsoft can also stream movies from a server either on the same LAN, or over the internet.
