There shouldn't be any magic here. If you open your account item in the email application first pane you should see all of your folders. You can click the folder to see it's contents. If you click on the "star" it will show up as a favorite.

I have always found this annoying with WebOS. It will pull the GMail Spam folder and the Yahoo BulkMail folder but I have never been able to get it to pull my Hotmail Junk folder. I have resorted to shutting off my junk folder, which is a different annoying. I used to just log into my Junk folder from the web every Sun to check on it but for about 2 months the Hotmail Web site mostly doesn't work from WebOS. (Android & Windows is fine still.)
Hopefully someone else knows how to get Hotmail's Junk folder.

It's a hotmail account and i've tried everything to get it to show junk mail for it. it is the email i use to sign up for stuff online, but occasionally i use it for something i might want, like notification from hp if there is more touchpads in stock. only one of my emails lets me show the junk folder.

This is Hotmail's fault. I checked and Thunderbird does not show Hotmail's junk folder either. Googling shows that the only way to get to Hotmail's junk folder is through the web interface. It is not available via pop or imap.

Thanks. I'm not looking to place blame, i was just hoping I wasn't going crazy, which i wasn't. I guess I'll just go to hotmail and for that account i will not use a junk filter.

    Thanks everyone!

I got it to work. Go to https://hotmail.com rather than just http.

There's other really good info in that thread as well.

I got it to work. you need to set up hotmail like exchange.

    1. Go to setting, add an account
    2. Select Microsoft exchange and go to manual set up
    3. Here are the parameters
    Email Address : email@hotmail.com
    Server: https://m.hotmail.com
    Domain: leave it blank
    Username: username@hotmail.com
    password: your password.

It should add hotmail as an exchange account and now you can see your junk mail folder along with every other folder.

    Enjoy.

Sorted it by adding my hotmail email details under Outlook so on the list of email acc choices, just choose Outlook then add your hotmail details as you go through the process

Above workarounds are OK but I keep 2 Hotmail installs on mine as the 'EAS' account does not show HTML in emails correctly - but it does show all sub-folders.

The 'normal' account shows full HTML, but not sub-folders.
