So I was following this guide:

http://forums.precentral.net/webos-t...ml#post3092349

to set up FTP transfers over WiFi. I ended up geting it setup and everything was working fine until I accidentally dragged and dropped my root folder in FileZilla. Now I can't connect or re-generate the necessary ssh key because I'm being told: could not create directory /home/root/.ssh' and that open /home/root/.ssh/id_rsa failed: No such file or directory'

do I need to reflash myself to stock and if so how? I'm so upset right now. If I could just punch Snookie in the face I would feel a lot better right now.

Thanks in advance for any help.

No worries. It sucks, but, a visit to webos doctor should fix you right up .

From there, go to device options, and select webOS doctor. Once it's downloaded, run the program with your -fully charged- touchpad plugged into the computer and it should fix you right up. Then you can start working on getting filezilla working again .

Sounds good, thanks!

Ugh, now I have to reinstall preware, all those speed patches, F15C, get all my programs and bookmarks back. Looks like I'm not playing Call of Duty tonight

Haha yes, in times of complete frustration, sometimes it helps to laugh.

Any bought apps will get automatically downloaded for you. Not sure if bookmarks are backed up for you.

Kept the bookmarks!! Yay!

All doctored up and back in business. Thanks for the support. I guess doctoring had to happen sooner or later, good to get it out of the way before I had more invested in the thing.

I would also recommend downloading Save/Restore from preware. It makes life much easier when it comes to restoring a device after visiting the doctor. ;-)
