Slightly weird request, can someone go: BBC SPORT | Football

on a touchpad. Mine enters a reload-page loop on mine so I cant view it, I'm wondering if its a setting/patch I have or an issue with the browser.

    Cheers!

Yup, dead spins, happens on lot's of sites. There was a thread about incompatible web sites and problems. You might have to go back a few pages, but it is in this forum.

Website works fine for me. I used this as the link and I'm loading from the US and not in the UK:

I've just got a touchpad and I too have this problem with the BBC News site.

I've done a little testing and it appears that BBC articles that include the embedded video player cause the Touchpad's browser to crash, and reload the page, getting itself stuck in a loop.

This article works fine (despite the embedded audio player element):
BBC News - The truth about politics: MP takes lie-detector test

But this article containing an embedded video player crashes my browser:
BBC News - Hurricane Irene makes US landfall as millions flee

And yes, I'm UK-based. Only way to avoid it is to hit the Stop button at the right time, presumably before the browser tries to implement the video element... Not good

Mine didn't crash but did the refresh loop.

Apologies, when I say 'crash' I meant the refresh loop. I did have max blocker installed, I just removed it and restarted Luna but the behaviour still remains

UK user, same refresh loop for me until I turn off javascript.

Works for me here in Florida, looking at head line "Rooney sent off as England reach Euros" Noticed that page was last updated at 04:31 GMT, Sat. Oct. 8. Tried several more times worked each time. Not a site that I would ever visit ofter, not the kind of football I watch.
