    My order had not changed in status since yesterday morning.
    Called and talked to business salesperson who after having a slow computer issue, looked up my order and said he expected to give me bad news but my order would be fulfilled. So I said that I wanted to check my credit status and he sent me to billing who told me that it was not going to be filled. They had filled all the orders they could and that the sales person had no way of knowing what he told me. She admitted that they had a computer issue that did not relieve the inventory properly so they sold more than they had. She said it was now a discontinued item so they would have not more. She said my CC would be credited within 24 hours. Meanwhile, my order still sits there for 2 32MB. Should I still hope?

    June 19 - 8:45am - early order Touchpad. Love it! Used fire sale refund to get another. Rest paid for all accessories. Trying to teach the wife to love it.

    Given the steady reports of cancellations, I would assume all inventory is gone and that if your order hasn't been manually switched to "shipped" then the site will eventually cancel it. It really blows that these systems weren't designed to handle this kind of volume.

    Ordered one 32GB. It seriously blows if they fulfilled orders based on when your CC company verified your account vs. actual time order was placed.

    Just got the official cancellation notice from Insight 7 minutes ago....

    Thank you for choosing Insight. Due to an overwhelming response in the last few days, we are completely sold out of HP Touch pads. Unfortunately, your order cannot be filled and has been cancelled. With Hewlett Packardís (HP) discontinuation of this product there will not be any future inventory to fulfill backorders or future orders.

    I didn't even get an email, the order was just unceremoniously deleted from my order tracking page. We have NET 30 terms, so it wasn't a credit card deal. I had my salesman put in my order, but it still didn't go through. Not the first time Insight has screwed up its inventory, we had a whole shipment of 60 PCs get cancelled on us.

    Ordered 8/23 9:30am. Canceled next day. In all fairness to them, I called today to have my cc hold released and it was handled within minutes.

    Good afternoon, I'd like to take a minute to update everyone on the status of the HP touchpad orders from this week:

    HP's discontinuation of the TouchPad and subsequent price decrease created a great deal of excitement and demand for the HP TouchPad. As a result, we received a quantity of orders that far exceeded our on-hand HP TouchPad inventory.

    Insight will honor the HP $99 (16GB) and $149 (32GB) price points on orders received after 12:01 a.m. (AZ-MST), Monday, August 22, 2011. Unfortunately, we were unable to fulfill all orders placed due to limited inventory. Clients will be notified by email or phone if their orders cannot be fulfilled. Due to the volume of web orders, we appreciate your patience as we work through these communications and apologize for any inconvenience.

    Effective immediately, Insight does not have any HP TouchPad devices in stock, and, unfortunately, will not be receiving future inventory.
