Cause mine's been going on for about 20 mins now...gonna return it to Costco tomorrow (bought it during that $100 off weekend), but I don't want to return it in a crashed state? :-p (Then I'm going to re-buy it for $150)

It takes a while. Mine was still working when I returned it, actually. I have done it before, though, and there is no way to interrupt it, so I wasn't too worried.

As long as the progress bar keeps moving, you're fine. And the more data you have on there, the longer it will take. Mine took something like 20 minutes the first time I did it, and that was on a 1 day old unit that I was exchanging because of a defect.

Okay it took like half an hour but it completed. :-p Can't wait to take it back in the morning and try to score a heavily discounted TP.
