    System: XP- SP-3.
Error: " Drive couldnot be mapped because no network found"

I am using the method on P/C:
Map box.net as a network drive on your computer | The #1 HP webOS, TouchPad, Pre, and Veer Community | PreCentral.net
I used both HTTP and HTTPS, and still doesnt work.
I installed the web folder option as well and it still doesnt work.
My username and password are correct for I can log in TP or if I open the website on my PC browser: https://www.box.net/dav/ I can log in, but ofcourse I can only download from a PC browser.
Any help would be really appreciated. I tried this on two different windows XP.
If this helped you hit thanks.

sorry. I don't have box.net yet so I can't help with this. If I decide to get it, I'll be trying the mapping.

You may need to punch a hole through your windows firewall to allow connection. You may also need to share a local folder on your PC and/or enable file sharing in the OS.

I couldn't get it to work either. Once I finish everything, it continues to ask me for the password over and over. I also ran the windows web folder update and still no luck. I'm running Xp Sp3.

Perhaps you need Win7 to make it work?

I did it on personal HP mini with Win7 and on work computer with WinXP (and tons of security and firewall stuff). No problems. Try using http instead of https on the WinXP

I haven't been able to get it to work with Win7 Pro 64-bit using http or https. The hotfix KB907306 doesn't seem to work with Win7. I've installed it 4 times and restarted my computer and it does not show up in the list of hotfixes or when I search my computer for it.

EDIT: After much Google searching I found some Freeware that seems to work pretty good so far. It's called "BitKinex 3.2.3". I was even able to choose "https" for my connection.

so thanks for your searching, with this BitKinex software I can connect to my box net account and transfer files. I transferred picture, it took 60 seconds. It was big like 3.6 MB but over one minute sounds very slow. does other people have similar times to transfer? Once again, cant thank you enough for the help w BitKinex.
