Been reading through the guides and successfully installed preware, but do all your patches need to installed through webos quick install? or is it exactly the same to launch preware and install the patches etc that way? Am guessing the same but I haven't had any definite clarification

    Kind Regards

Most patches can be installed through either method. (I haven't checked in a while to see whether there are still a few that cannot.)

Whatever method works best for you.

Once you have Preware, you can pretty much ignore WebOSQi (as great as it is). You can use preware alone to install the patches (to your question: same result).

    Good luck

Now go show your support for the homebrew community by buying Preware Homebrew Documentation in the app catalog. The one measly buck you pay goes straight to webosinternals.
