    One of the TouchPads I purchased won't load the facebook app. I downloaded it from the app catalog. Tried removing the app and reinstalling and did the same with the user account log-in. Any suggestions on what may cause it to just display the retrieving account screen?

    the same issue for me until I update WebOS 3.0.2
    now it's work perfectly

    A while back I too had this issue. After speaking to HP I was able to get it fixed.
    1. Go to settings and click on device info.
    2. Click on the Reset Options button at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click on the Erase Apps & Data button.

    The bad thing is that it will erase all of the apps. Though it will reload all apps that are save on your profile. I don't know any other solution, but I know this worked for me when all other failed.

    I don't understand the need for a FB app for TP. Just use the browser and facebook.com, it works great.
