Sadly we did not make it in time for Christmas in July, but maybe we can start a new trend. Christmas at the beginning of August.

Good to know. The update circle is complete and hopefully my TouchPad should be up and running very soon.

EDIT: Oops, looks like there is a portion left in the circle yet. Never mind, as I type this the update seems to be finished and the TouchPad looks like it is rebooting.

Webosinternals released an app in preware that runs a script adding 2 extra pages. Homebrew and Games. It's great!

wow... ~16 minutes to download, unpack and validate. Now am staring morosely at the message "Installation of HP WebOS 3.0.2 68 will take about 15 minutes. Your device cannot be used during the updates." Ah well, this is actually more exciting than the eBook I was reading!!!!

    Agreed I love it.
I love physical keyboards... but there is two devices that would make me consider a slab, one is something running a full version of Open webOS. The other is an iPhone!!!! HA HA just kidding (about the iPhone that is)...

Biggest improvement for me now, that will allow Quickoffice reps to close my support ticket. I'm FINALLY able to add my Google docs account! Woot!

Good to hear. Is the browser noticeably faster? Also, is the screen more responsive to your taps? Sometimes I have to double or triple tap a link to get it to respond. Thanks!

In the interest of providing feedback for all users, developers, & HP, wouldn't it be prudent to actually start a thread noting every discovered fix & those that didn't quite make it?

I think it's in the interest of everyone & can be done without griping & moaning.

The browser is MUCH better. I've actually been able to finally get Hulu, Crackle, and even ESPN360 working reliably. Up until now it was hit or miss for me. (Starting to wonder if the advanced browser is still necessary...glad I held off)

    Swipes seem more responsive too.

    Still playing

    Where is "whats new thread"?

Dont we always have that with all prior webos updates?

    Here you go.

For one, 3.0.2 does not fix the 'software manager does not notify or update any available app updates' bug.

A little while after the TouchPad finished updating and rebooting, a Software Manager notification appeared, stating that 'one' app update is available. Upon clicking the notification, the 'software maanger' opened and after a few seconds reported that "This action could not be completed. Try again later". This is the exact same problem I have been facing almost for over three weeks now and according to several posts and threads in this forum, many others have been facing this same issue.

Here's to hoping for another update soon.

PS: I had to use 'app catalog' to update Facebook to 2.0.35 just as I have been doing for all other updates for the past three weeks or so.
