My touchpads screen isn't totally laid in flat it seems.
On the speaker edge the screen comes up a few mm. Enough that there is a odd "edge" when you pull your finder across it and it "squishes" into the surrounding black spongy stuff the screen is resting in (in it's frame)

    Does anyone else have this?

Yeah, mine is uneven near the camera. Had I never seen a thread like this I would not have noticed.

It's pretty obvious on mine cause I hit it lots of times when I do the upswipe.

I'm worried that the screen might just disconnect or get condensation behind it...

Maybe when flush there is stress causing the cracks near the speaker area reported by others. Maybe your better off that it has popped out?

Was about to make a topic when suggestions came up with this. I noticed this on mine also. You can sort of press it down, but it pops back up again.

Same here... Upper left corner, pops up after a while if I press it down. Would be nice with a fix :-)

Some others have also had problems with the screen lifting up (myself included) in this thread:

I hope this becomes a "known issue" to HP so that it might be easier to return for repair in the future. I've spent 3 days battling to get a repair authorised.
