just tried hbo.com with my DirecTV account and seems to work fine. I didn't even think to try and was going to wait for an app.

update: needs to be optimized, I think an app is in order.

The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) has lots Full-length free movies & tv shows available.

I cant seem to get some to work though....the ad will play perfect (of course lol) & then the movie shows sound but no picture on some,,,,anyone know why?

    Some play perfectly though.

But I don't think it's been mentioned here that Xfinity (Comcast.net | Entertainment | News | Sports | Email | Watch TV Online | Comcast Deals | On Demand) works great if you happen to be a Comcast subscriber!
On the show that I tried to watch, it wanted you to download silverlight. It was for one of the on demand shows. I guess I'll have to try some of the others.

Just tried Hell's Kitchen from home here. It is currently playing in another card as I'm typing this A little lag here and there, but still very watchable. I would rate the video quality as 8/10.

I will try it later through freeTether and see if it's still watchable or not.
Due to the cancellation of the penny, I no longer give 2 about anything. I may however, give a nickel

pretty legit, only problem ive been having is that it refreshes the page pretty often, then you have to sit there and wait for 15 second ad.

Do they have the software for Mac, I could setup a server with my MacPro and you could test it. Let me know via pm and I will download it as soon as I can and get it setup.

EDIT: if I have the right site its windows only, I'll have to set it up with my vmware image as I dont go into my windows partition that often.

Just get VIDEO FLOOD HD, it helps the dev out and has many of the sites everyone is looking for AND I am sure with all the people buying and requesting more, he will put out updates with recommendations.

PLUS, I own it myself and it was worth the use of my $50 promo code from HP. ;-)

Last night I shot a quick video showing some of my favorite things about the TouchPad and WebOS in general. It's about 10 minutes long and just kind of shows off what you can sort of do with the device.

    or

My goal was to really show off the multi-tasking and how it works for those who may not know anything about WebOS.

    Enjoy!
