Does anyone know what the SD card sized space on the bottom side of the touchpad where the volume buttons are. It looks as if you would be able place a 3g card or something in it.

It is a sim card slot. However, it is completely empty and useless in the wifi version. Doesnt even have the antenna connection.

I just found where a SD slot was planned on the touchpad. There is a slot with a blank card that pops out only about a 1/4", which is on the opposite side from the volume button.

If you pull it out a bit you'll find your serial number on a sticker on the back of it.

This slot is where SIM cards would go in SIM card Tablet devices for all other devices it acts as blank, but as someone else mentioned it does store your serial number of your device in case you can't get into the operating system.

I love physical keyboards... but there is two devices that would make me consider a slab, one is something running a full version of Open webOS. The other is an iPhone!!!! HA HA just kidding (about the iPhone that is)...
