A terrible (pro apple)article I saw today. Some of the lies are absolutely stunning ! for example: iphone 4 never had antenna problems and it was a fabrication by the geeks !!!

After using my Touchpad for the better part of week, I can see why it failed. Like others have probably mentioned, out of the box (and with the 3.0.2 update), it feels really sluggish. Browsing through menus and switching between apps feels pretty fast, but apps like Amazon's Kindle, the web browser and email client run sluggishly. Even with flash disabled, web browsing isn't as smooth or as responsive as on the iPad2 or Galaxy Tab 10.1. The text also tends to become warped when zooming in. High resolution Youtube videos also runs choppy compared to competitors. The calendar app also seems to have issues syncing with my google calendar - None of the events I have listed towards the end year appear on the calendar.
Given more time, I'm sure HP could have optimized WebOS and improved performance even further. Any idea if they'll continue to offer software updates for the Touchpad? Or is 3.0.2 as far as they're going? Last edited by Pikapichu; 09/17/2011 at 02:52 PM. |
