It's not really all that noticeable. I still get a cramp in my hand while trying to hold it while lying down just like the iPad.

The thickness does make it a little more gripable, but I still do not care for the slippery exterior. It looks super cool when it's clean, and super pathetic when it's smudged. A white version would help with that.

Hope you wash your hands after using it (as well as the iPad). Good to know there's parity on the crap issue.

Don't suppose you got one of their branded cases? I suspect that's going to be my answer to the glossy smudge magnet (and no, I didn't really like that on the Pre either).

Hmmm, I think I know what you meant to say!

I take it that you do not have a case. You have affirmed what I thought...its not a big deal unless you are just looking at specs comparatively.

If you drag an app icon towards the edge of the screen, will it make a new page then?

I was thinking that you were trying to do your best "monkey-throwing-****" impersonation!

How does it handle non-TouchPad apps? Does it scale to full screen or only represent the app in a 480/320 window?

Does the calendar app let you invite people to events yet like iOS?? That is something is majorly lacking for me!

Not that I can see, no. That's hardly definitive though as I can't say I am an expert at the Calendar.

Didn't see Skype on the store demos. I take it that was a download file?

Got to play with a TP demo unit at a Walmart today. Spent 30 minutes with it.

Tried to connect it to my Sprint Pre- with FreeTether app but it would not get an IP. It saw my WiFi.
Then tried to pair it over Bluetooth connection and that did not work.

If you have no Internet connection the TP is going to be pretty useless. Basically I could not really check out any of the apps that required Internet. Seems like the Demo units have limited apps installed.

Could not figure out in the Photo/Video app how to take a picture. Might not be possible with the front facing camera.

All apps opened up pretty fast (< 3 seconds). Of course there was no data in the apps like Calendar, Mail etc.

Skype is built into the system. No app.

Calendar loaded fine. The only issue I saw was swiping. A tiny lag there.
