I was on my way to work this morning when a commercial about some retail company going out of business was playing. The guy was just spouting a laundry list of items they were selling at a "discount" and one of them was "Android TouchPad."

I know there is a "TouchPad" in China, but that one runs Windows. So it got me thinking, has HP managed to make their tablet the "generic" name already or did their marketing department know it was coming? It'd be on par with some company naming their device the "Smartphone" before the name became the generic term for it.

    Just found it interesting.

Actually, Win 8 is supposed to run on Snapdragon so I was hoping to load Win 8 on a Touchpad when the test software comes out!
