Is the wavebar still on the hp Touchpad. It hurt enough taking away the gesture bar. And I haven't seen it demoed but I hope it's still there. I would really have to hate pushing a button just to get into another app while in one.
"Glen honey, I got a question for you. What do you do for a living?

My guess would be no. "The wave" is pretty closely tied to the gesture area. I'm hoping, but ... no.

Sadly I never use the wave bar as is.

But after playing with it for a couple of seconds i might!

I was thinking the same @ VCI and @ Titan neither do I but I had just remembered that the pre could do this when my son was playing with my phone and I forgot it even was there. But it would be nice to have on the TouchPad. Idk

it does come in handy from time to time, but, with me at least, since most of the other gestures are flick up, over, etc.. it's just a natural thing to flick up and then i'm in card view, so really the wave bar isn't used to it's advantage

From the multiple demo's we saw... the wave bar wasn't demo'd for TouchPad 3.0 software. They did make changes to the UI that do make up for the lack of a gesture area (and those changes are actually really nice and well designed). BUT.. and that is a big "but"... the TouchPads they were using during the Think Beyond event were not running optimized software and many of the features were not demo'd because of this.

So really, no-one knows if the wave bar is part of the TouchPad or not at this point. I think that particular feature is custom made for a tablet device!! <keep your fingers crossed>
