    It's directly relted to this thread. APPS. Applications that didn't exist for the iPad at launch came in the tens of thousands to allow what was a device with very limited initial functionality to expand its value.

    Those 10s of thousands of apps, dramatically more processing power, video out, a front and rear camera, improved battery life, and a gyroscope opened the door for a lot more capability.

    The iPad and iPad 2 were dramatically different in their capabilities at their respective launch dates, though I didn't think that was something that really needed to be explained...

    Sounds exactly like where the Touchpad is now.

    With Apps this will change and we won't see this argument so much, webos fans will be too busy downloading the latest and greatest, or updating existing apps. In fact webos users will be more busy as there is actually two places to download stuff, App Catalog and homebrew.

    Well, webOS users can certainly try to remain optimistic on that front.
