Business enterprise-level stuff is known for supporting platforms with seemingly-dead ecosystems, and HP probably had some pull here given its high-end enterprise services and products.

We're not talking the ability to run Windows 7, Outlook, or games on your Touchpad here; we're talking SharePoint and interoperability with RDS. Pretty standard stuff to cast a wide net.
