I've got a $0.99 app in the catalog called Halloween Artist; I hope you don't mind me plugging it here. :^) I personally find it a pretty fun time sink, and children in general seem to love it.

Purchased it earlier, my daughter loves it. I got it mainly because my office is having a pumpkin carving contest so this is a great way to test out designs!
