Question Sync Messages with Android?

So uh who thinks it would be cool if we could sync our TouchPads with Android phones? (Like what it does with the Pre3)

I was talking about this on Google+.

There has to be a way to accomplish this. Whether its by patching the TP to think all phones are webOS based or by making an app or script for Android to trick the TouchPad into thinking its a webOS device.

I realize that, however I'm wondering if there is a way to enable the syncing of sms and phone calls as with webOS devices

Check this.

No one was interested. And that was a week ago.

What you can do though is download droidmessenger for android and then access your messages through a browser at droidmessenger.com
It works pretty good with a pc and it should work ok with the touchpad browser.
That's the only workaround I've found so far. You can also beg the droidmessenger.com developer to create an app for webOS.
