    Hello,

    Though there is much going on with HPs server shut down and everything, I would like to concentrate on another topic which has been negleted / not important anymore for quite some time.

    This is somewhat a long story but I was curious!

    I orderd a Mugen Pre 3 Battery 1400 mAh in Juni 2013 as a replacement for my original battery. I tried it out in December and it had the already described problem of shutting down randomly (Mugen Battery received).

    I emailed Mugen and got a replacement in March 2014. Here is my detailed report of charging and draining the battery. I monitored every step I took from March till August. In this time I used the original battery for over a month as well to have a point of comparison. Here is my detailed analysis of the first month. The rest will follow later on as the preparation of data is a bit nasty (I have all written down in one Pre3 Note).

    Is there a way to display it better here in the forum? (By crash I mean, that the phone did shut down without prior warning (not caused by software problems).)

    I have to admit that the second loading cycle got interrupted with a shut down (sorry). If that rendered the whole battery trash - I am a bit at a loss at what to say. You can't do everything perfect. I expect a battery to work not to have some strange quirks I have to take care of. (Hell, for that I have a Pre3!!!).
    I haven't calculated the average charging time but it was well over 8 hours. The average time of drainage was 33 hrs. 49 minutes. I have a very unstable usage (sometimes I use my Pre3 all day, sometimes only for 10 minutes a day).

    I don't know if that is good or bad - what would you say?

    I will post the months May through August as soon as I find some more time. I will provide Mugen Power with this report upon completion.

    I forgot to give my analysis.

    1. I never reached less than 5 percent (except once).
    2. I couldn't find any pattern usage or run time wise. It randomly shuts off between 5 and 10 percent.
    3. What interests me most how it competes to the original taking the “early shut off” into account.
