Does it use the same battery as the palm Pre? Are they interchangeable?

    Thanks
WebOS used to be great! 👎

last week i saw a fleabay auction for oem Pre3 batteries. they had a stack of about a dozen in their picture.

i remember it because i was wondering, where would someone get a stack of oem batteries like that?

i've used the mugen for Pre3 as well. for the price it's not a bad option.

How does it compared those Mugen Batteries with the stock battery on the Pre 3 ?

I seen a lot of research online that talks about the battery , and a 1230 mAh battery...how good does it hold charge during usage a battery with only a small bump in capacity like 1400 mAh ?

The present/recent batch of Pre3 Mugen batteries seem to behave very strangely when interfaced with the HP Pre3 power management system. See thread sited above. (Mugen battery Recieved)

For example my Mugen when read by 'Dr. Battery' is at present showing 'Health' of 1556mAh
and an 'Actual' capacity left (@ 100% charge) of 1705mAh !
So arguably, if Dr.Battery is reading this correctly, it isn't such a small 'bump'!

However, booting from Full Device Shutdown has also proven to be unreliable with these batteries, with the application an external power source often being required to 'trigger' a reboot - and the repeated showing of the 'Battery/?' symbol also apparent.

...and the stock (for me) has gone from 100% health to exactly 50% health. I cant work it out. The 50% health battery is still better than the current Mugen batch of batteries.

Yeah Bro.. it's weird! Certainly the more often a Li-ion Batt is totally flattened the quicker it's 'health' will degrade - but that still doesn't explain this Mugen anomally!
I am going to run the Mugen again for a while now and observe it's discharge behaviour anyway, despite the booting issues.

does your govnah profile sometimes default to the default or something else? i found i had to use mode switcher and tell the default mode to autoload my preferred govnah profile because sometimes (no idea what does it) the default uberkernel profile just activates for no apparant reason.

Yes, I've experienced that quite often, but dont use Mode Switcher to force it. I can just tell!

I seems to occur when Govnah resets to default at a full device restart/crash/feeze etc?
