    Any suggestions gratefully received!

    My Sept 2011 contract pre 3 started having a few problems so I switched to my new, unused backup pre 3.

    Accounts, apps, contacts etc present as soon as I logged in with my webos account.

    But twice (only been using it less than a week) the phone just froze when I hit 'dial'. The first time turning it off and on resolved the problem. The second time I took the battery out, checked the sim was in correctly yet the same thing happened when I tried dialling again.

    Any suggestions that a webos novice could try?

    Updated to latest version of webOS (2.2.4)? Is it AT&T, VZW or EU version?

    Duh - stupid me - that info might help!

    It's an EU/UK Pre 3.

    I've just checked and it's version 2.2.0. The old one was 2.2.4 and I thought that as I was using the same webos account it would migrate to 2.2.4 when I activated it - I did say I was a novice!

    I'm downloading the upgrade now. Once installed I'll see if that helps.
