I need access to a couple of web sites that will not render correctly. It used to be that neither the iphone nor android would render it properly but now if both render it well. I would give you the site, but it requires a login and password and that isn't possible. No version of default webOS browser, from pre to touchpad to pre 3 will rendering.I heard recently that someone was able to trick a site into thinking the pre to render a page as a iPhone.

any ideas?

Check out the forum's search feature. There are more than a few threads on how to do this. One will get you a webOS-Internals wiki article I wrote, and a patch from Garrett based on it.
Did you know:

webOS ran on a Treo 800 during initial development.
